Charles Adler found his interest via UNH’s hands-on method. After earning his bachelor’s in nursing and a master’s as a medical nurse leader, he’s now signed up in the Family Registered Nurse Expert (FNP) program, which uses the adaptability he needs.
“I like the clinical setting, whether it’s a pediatrician’s workplace or a primary care or medical facility setup– that’s where things started to click for me,” Adler stated.
The real-world experience that defines UNH’s approach has shaped his whole occupation trajectory. His elderly practicum led straight to a job in an ICU, which opened up doors to experience as a travel nurse, clinical nurse leader, and ultimately to his existing duty as an FNP.
“I would not have actually had the ability to have the experiences I’ve had if it weren’t for UNH nursing,” Adler mirrors.
